Although Minecraft: Education Edition is based on the same code base as Minecraft Bedrock, it is a separate application. Due to differences in our production cycles, we are a version or so behind the current Bedrock version. This allows us to ensure the best experience for our Education customers. All Bedrock features will be integrated into the Education Edition over the course of our next release(s).

    Hi CarrieD,

You do say that ALL bedrock features will be in MC:EE, but that wasn’t the case with foxes. Why were they not in last update and how did that happen?

Our releases are not on the same schedule, and we will integrate features in our upcoming releases.  Although I can't give you an exact timeline at this point, I would recommend that you continue to visit our blog, Twitter feed and announcements section for the latest news!
